Sidetracked
I may be on the slow side of the news for a day or two as a newish Hitachi HD that I picked up for my macbook ate it last night. Strangely, I'm really only feeling the loss of two pieces of data, my local wiki (VooDooPad-powered) and my music library - most of the other important stuff (like, say, a blog) is on the web somewhere. Hopefully I'll be able to recover my missing pieces eventually but for now my focus is on getting a new drive so I can run some diagnostics on the old one.
